Your are Registering to play in the John Jay Futbol Club (JJFC) HS Travel Program.
All Boys & Girls in Grades 9-12, are eligible to play. 8th Graders can be assessed for a spot on the U16 teams at tryout. Tryouts are tentatively scheduled for the week of 10/29/17.
Currently, the program will be available to players for the Spring Season Only, however, Winter Training and/or Winter Indoor League play will be offered after the 2017 scholastic season, for an additional fee.
You are registering to play in the John Jay Futbol Club (JJFC) Travel Program. All Boys and Girls from U8 to U18 are eligible to play.
Once registered, every player is encouraged to attend two tryout sessions during the weeks of May 15th & May 22nd. Teams will be announced by June 25th.
Please register only if your child can commit to attending scheduled games and practices in the Fall & Spring seasons of play. There are two practices per week and games are played on Sundays in each of the two 10-week Fall & Spring seasons.
ALL players will be automatically assigned to their appropriate "age-based" teams using the date ranges adopted by our league (WYSL) and US Youth Soccer. The new age cut-off is Jan 1st. Players wishing to "play up" must attend the tryout session of the age group they wish to play for.

The John Jay Futbol Club is pleased to provide our Players an opportunity to participate in Free Goalie Training sessions this Fall. Non-JJFC players are welcome to join for a fee of $60.
Sessions are held from 4/14-6/2 at Meadowpond ES from 5:30-6:30pm
For the introductory player, footwork, handling & shot-stopping are emphasized. Players will be taught the fundamentals as well as developing an understanding for safety and physical requirements.
For the advanced player, footwork, handling, shot-stopping, distribution, dealing with crosses and playing as a defender are emphasized. An intense program will push players physically; developing reactions, hand eye coordination, timing and efficient technique.
The Co-Ed Adult league will kick off on April 16th and run for 9 weeks until June 18th. League play will be suspended on Memorial Day Weekend.
Games will be played Sundays at 9am, or 11am, pending field availability at either Fox Valley Upper Field or Meadowond Elem. School
The fee is $120, and includes a numbered jersey, insurance, league fees, and referees.
Our Adult Co-Ed program is designed around a round-robin schedule for 4-6 teams. This is a friendly, albeit competitive league, for players who want to stay in shape, while playing the game that we have all grown up with. In addition to the Sunday morning games, midweek "pick-up" games will also be scheduled on Wednesday and Fridays.
ByLaws: You must be over 30 years old. Shin Guards are mandatory. Sliding Tackles are prohibited. Games are 45min each half with unlimited substitutions.
